ABOUT US
Enactus is the world’s largest experiential learning platform.
Enactus uOttawa is a student-led non-profit organization that uses entrepreneurial action to empower people to improve their livelihoods. We help shape generations of entrepreneurial leaders passionate about advancing Canada's economic, social, and environmental health. We rally the energy, ideas, and passion of Canada's best and brightest students, who see business as a way to address social issues.
At Enactus uOttawa, we provide students with the opportunity to work on real-life projects in many different fields of interest. Our projects are run completely by students, and member gain work experience by making business decisions and performing hands-on work.
OUR PROJECTS
Nupacko is a nutrient rich cookie, created to target nutrient deficiency. We strive to help the communities around us, for one cookie sold is one donated.
Project Fly empowers youth by delivering interactive workshops and opportunities focused on professional and personal growth.
Shki-Miikan (“New Road”) is a student-led initiative under Enactus uOttawa dedicated to creating opportunities for Indigenous voices to be heard and celebrated.
Shki-Miikan helps Indigenous people find healing and empowerment by guiding them through the process of writing and publishing children’s books.
Rising CO₂ levels are acidifying our oceans, straining marine ecosystems and the coastal communities that depend on them. Aqua Grid, a student-led initiative, tackles this challenge with scalable, modular kelp cultivation systems that absorb CO₂ and help buffer local ocean acidity. Designed to adapt across diverse coastal environments, Aqua Grid also opens doors to sustainable aquaculture and blue economy growth.
Zensory aims to develop sensory pods designed to support students in classrooms who become overstimulated or anxious by providing a quiet, structured space where they can self-regulate, refocus, and return to learning. The goal is to make emotional regulation support more accessible in schools by offering a tool that helps neurodivergent learners while also supporting teachers by giving them a practical resource to help manage diverse classroom needs.
Priage is a tool to make processes such as patient intake, communication in waiting rooms, and internal workflow easier in clinics and hospitals. It gives staff members better information on the patients, supports updates while patients wait, and reduces repetitive administrative work, while keeping clinical decisions in the hands of staff.
