Photographer/Videographer

The Marketing team is the creative brains behind everything Enactus. We ensure that all ideas come to life by creating marketing collateral such as promotional videos for our projects, advertisements to promote upcoming events or partnerships, managing the Enactus uOttawa social media acounts, and anything and everything in-between. Our team may be small but you'd never know it; we're highly driven, innovative thinkers who create next-level content to ensure our projects get the recognition they deserve.

The Marketing team's goals this year include:

  • Working with the Member Development team and Operations team to develop an effective recruitment campaign to attract new talent for the teams

  • Increase the number of cross-promotional partnership opportunities we engage in

  • Streamline marketing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and allow us to produce the highest quality content possible

YOU’LL NEED TO:

  • Have previous experience or knowledge of photography/videography

  • Have a passion for learning and improving

  • Be a team-oriented person

  • Understand and have an eye for good (great) photography

YOU’LL BE WORKING ON THINGS LIKE:

  • Taking photos and videos for projects and events

  • Organize and edit photos

  • Producing National/World class presentations (editing videos for competitions, etc.)

  • Filming and Photographing our members working on their projects

  • Producing videos and photography for the various projects as required for their community partners

  • Help with the marketing strategy and spreading awareness of Enactus on campus

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD:

  • Your own camera

Social Media Manager

  • Developing a strategy to boost Enactus uOttawa’s online presence

  • Manage Enactus uOttawa’s social media accounts

  • Update social media accounts during events

  • Experience managing and creating content for social media

  • Experience marketing a social enterprise

Website Manager

YOU’LL BE WORKING ON THINGS LIKE:

  • Updating and maintaining the Enactus uOttawa website

  • Managing websites for Enactus uOttawa projects and intitiatives

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD:

  • Experience managing and producing content for websites

  • Experience marketing a social enterprise

Graphic Designer

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

-    Experience with Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator

-    An excellent eye for design

-    Ability to work under strict deadlines

-    Great interpersonal and collaborative skills

-    The ability to work independently on certain projects

-    The ability to accept and give constructive criticism

IT’D BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

-    Experience with branding

-    Marketing strategy experience

- Experience applying color theory, composition, and typography to graphics

- Experience designing for a social enterprise

YOU’LL BE WORKING ON THINGS LIKE :

-    Making posters and banners for different projects and Enactus in general

-    Branding and promoting content in an engaging manner for select projects/events

-    National/World class presentations (editing slides for competitions)

-    Making a lot of visual content for the team to post on it’s various social channels

-    Packaging/Banners/Posters (highly visible material)

Head of Marketing

The Legacy Conference is Canada’s largest student-run entrepreneurship conference. But TBH, we don't even like the term conference.
