Photographer

You’ll need to:

  • Understand and have an eye for good (great) photography
  • Have your own camera
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Have some knowledge in photo editing

It’d be great if you have:

  • Marketing experience

You’ll be working on things like:

  • Creating stunning photo content for our projects and campaigns
  • Capturing the best moments from some of the year’s best events: Strat24, Legacy, the Enactus Regional/National/World Expositions

 

Videographer

The Marketing team is the creative brains behind everything Enactus. We ensure that all ideas come to life by creating marketing collateral such as promotional videos for our projects, advertisements to promote upcoming events or partnerships, managing the Enactus uOttawa social media accounts, and anything and everything in-between. Our team may be small but you’d never know it; we’re highly driven, innovative thinkers who create next-level content to ensure our projects get the recognition they deserve.

The Marketing team’s goals this year include:

1.     Developing an effective recruitment campaign to attract new talent for the teams

2.     Increase the number of cross-promotional partnership opportunities we engage in

3.     Streamline marketing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and allow us to produce the highest quality content possible

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

-    Experience with Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro X

-    Your own equipment (DSLR camera, Microphone, tripod)

-    An attention to detail

-    Ability to work under strict deadlines

-    The ability to work independently on certain projects

-    The ability to accept and give constructive criticism

IT’D BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

-    Experience working on professional videos

-    The ability to work in a cross-functional environment

-    A flexible schedule

YOU’LL BE WORKING ON THINGS LIKE:

-    Filming our members working on their projects

-    Producing videos for the various projects as required for their community partners

-    Help with the marketing strategy and spreading awareness of Enactus on campus

-    National/World class presentations (editing videos for competitions, etc.)

-    Branding/promotion for select social enterprises/projects/events

Graphic Designer

-    Making posters and banners for different projects and Enactus in general

-    Branding and promoting content in an engaging manner for select projects/events

-    National/World class presentations (editing slides for competitions)

-    Making a lot of visual content for the team to post on it’s various social channels

-    Packaging/Banners/Posters (highly visible material)

Web Designer (Chief Hacker)

We ensure that all ideas come to life by creating marketing collateral such as promotional videos for our projects, advertisements to promote upcoming events or partnerships, managing the Enactus uOttawa social media acounts, and anything and everything in-between. Our team may be small but you'd never know it; we're highly driven, innovative thinkers who create next-level content to ensure our projects get the recognition they deserve.

The Marketing team's goals this year include:

  • Developing an effective recruitment campaign to attract new talent for the teams
  • Increase the number of cross-promotional partnership opportunities we engage in
  • Streamline marketing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and allow us to produce the highest quality content possible

You’ll need to:

  • Understand and have an eye for good (great) design
  • Have in depth knowledge of web platforms (Squarespace, Wordpress, etc.)
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Be user experience inclined (think critically about usability of platforms)

It’d be great if you have:

  • Experience with branding
  • Knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator
  • Marketing experience
  • Basic to advanced coding knowledge

You’ll be working on things like:

  • The Enactus website
  • Help buff and perfect project/event websites in times of crisis
  • Work towards moving project and event archived data from Podio to another (more coherent, and user friendly) platform

Director of Public Relations

Our team may be small but you'd never know it; we're highly driven, innovative thinkers who create next-level content to ensure our projects get the recognition they deserve.

The Marketing team's goals this year include:

  • Developing an effective recruitment campaign to attract new talent for the teams
  • Increase the number of cross-promotional partnership opportunities we engage in
  • Streamline marketing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and allow us to produce the highest quality content possible

You’ll need to:

  • Be personable
  • Have the drive & persistence to continue reaching out to media stations
  • Be social media savvy
  • Have excellent writing and communication skills

It’d be great if you have:

  • Experience writing press releases
  • Connections to various media outlets
  • A love for social media
  • Marketing experience

You’ll be working on things like:

  • Promoting Enactus uOttawa to all faculties and in the community
  • Creating press releases and summaries for media purposes
  • Maintaining all social media outlets
  • Composing email newsletters to be sent out to our partners (tentative)
  • Helping the Web Designer enhance website performance  

Director of Marketing

You’ll need to:

-    Experience with marketing

-    Creative, outside of the box thinking

-    Excellent team leadership and communication skills

 

It’d be great if you have:

-    Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or open-source alternatives

-    Experience creating and managing marketing and recruitment campaigns

-    Knowledge of photography and videography

-    Ability to use web platforms (Squarespace, Wordpress)

 

You’ll get to do things like:

-    Seek creative ways to expand the reach of Enactus uOttawa and attract talented new members

-    Build relationships and execute innovative marketing campaigns through strong social media channels (email, Facebook, Twitter) in collaboration with the Director of PR

-    Collaborate with external partners to develop meaningful relationships in order to foster cross-promotional opportunities

-    Some content creation where necessary
