Graphic Designer

On March 23rd and 24th, 2018, the Legacy Conference will bring together over 600 entrepreneurially-minded students in Ottawa. In collaboration with high-growth startup companies and top-tier speakers, Legacy is the only event in Canada dedicated to hosting the nation’s top student entrepreneurs. Over the course of two days, we will host keynotes delivered by entrepreneurs and industry pioneers, expert panel discussion, a hackathon, a startup exposition showcasing some of the nation’s hottest startups, and interactive workshops for startups and attendees.

We’re looking for a designer to join our team, bringing design thinking and skill sets in pursuit of better showcase Legacy’s voice in graphics. You will work on content that inspires our attendees to sign up for the conference at a glance. You’ll have to be good at managing your time, adjusting quickly to shifting approaches, situations, and priorities.


You’ll Be:

 

  • Take control of creating designs from everything (ranging from website to name tags) like this:

 

  • Contributing to our growing design system in an effort to convey Legacy’s voice in visuals to provide our audience with a new experience

  • Prioritizing simultaneous deadlines across multiple teams and coordinating the efforts across the other teams

You’ll Need To Have:

  • A passion for solving design problems while wearing multiple hats and owning all facets of design

  • A desire to mentor other designers, leading by example with your keen eye for good design, and attention to detail

  • Exceptional Photoshop abilities as can be demonstrated through current project pieces
