Talent Development Engineer

The deCODE Hackathon is a semi-annual event where computer science students from across North America pair up with company engineers to solve technical challenges presented by the companies themselves. These exclusive, tightly knit workshops aim to repair the interview and selection process for candidates through collaboration, and practical application of skills. It also provides a way for students to create an awesome project to benefit their software development career long-term.

3 Goals we aim to address this year:

  1. Increase our threshold to which we accept students
  2. Connect with students on a deeper basis about things they’d like to see out of deCODE
  3. Grow the number of applications we receive from 3rd/4th year students
